Introducing the Tealium Learning Community (TLC)

By Clint Ivy | May 16th, 2013 at 8:00 am | 0 Comments

Today I am extremely excited to announce the launch of the Tealium Learning Community.

Available to Tealium clients and partners, the TLC (pun intended) is the place to find the help, documentation and other educational resources users need to be successful with Tealium’s service. You can find out about new features, learn to navigate the Tealium management console, and get help with any questions you might have on how to maximize your use of Tealium iQ. Because we want Tealium to be the place where digital marketers go to be successful, we believe that a social / community approach to knowledge sharing is the best solution. The Tealium Learning Community is that solution.

Keep Visitors on Your Site and Away From the Competition

By Auria Moore | March 20th, 2013 at 10:46 am | 0 Comments

Where are your web site visitors going? If you’re an e-commerce marketer, answering that question and increasing conversions are always top priorities. There are plenty of different variables that affect customer conversions, but below are three common reasons why your visitors could be fleeing your site:

  1. They don’t want to wait. Akamai revealed that 47 percent of consumers expect an e-commerce page to load in 2 seconds or less – which means your site better be up to par, or off to a competitor’s site they go.
  2. Your marketing campaigns aren’t effective.
  3. You need a better measurement strategy.

Tag Management Systems (TMS) have been increasingly adopted by e-commerce marketers to maximize their online effectiveness and improve the performance of their website. As digital marketers increase the number of marketing vendors they use, deploying and managing tags becomes a challenge, often resulting in page bloat and ultimately hinders page performance. TMS enhances site performance and efficiency, gives marketers better control of their online vendors and digital data, and allows them to manage their digital marketing tools easier than ever.

We rocked out at the Hard Rock last week in San Diego. Our first annual user conference was a huge success and the team at Tealium is still riding on Cloud 9 from all the great responses we received from those in attendance. A sold out crowd of more than 200 customers, speakers, and special guests roamed “Abbey Road” (one of the Hard Rock’s cool murals) at Digital Velocity. We took tons of a few photos to capture the magic as it was happening. Check out our Facebook page or Flickr album to view some great shots. Thanks to all of those who have contributed to our growth thus far, and get ready for what’s in store!
